Christmas tree lighting on Sunday, December 1st
The scent of Christmas is in the air here at Home of Carlsberg!
We've been brewing up a special First Sunday of Advent, and we are excited to share it with you. We invite you to enjoy the Christmas spirit in our Brewery Yard. All day can enjoy warm Danish ‘æbleskiver’, mulled beer, and hot chocolate served by Madklubben and cozy up by the fire pits placed in the Brewery Yard. At 4:00 PM, the courtyard will light up as we illuminate this year’s beautiful Christmas tree.
Throughout the day, you can sample taste, and buy delicious Christmas beers – perhaps the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one!
Program for the Day – December 1st:
- 10:00 AM – Home of Carlsberg opens: Discover 177 years of Danish brewing and cultural history in our exhibition.
- 4:00 PM – Welcome speech: Tine Kastrup-Misir, Director of Home of Carlsberg, welcomes everyone.
- 4:05 PM – Christmas tree lighting in the Brewer’s Courtyard: The official start of the holiday spirit.
- 4:05 PM – Christmas caroling by the choir "United": Beautiful Christmas songs fill the courtyard, setting the holiday mood.
