You can always visit Home of Carlsberg without a ticket to the exhibition. Come and explore the cosy courtyard, enjoy a cold beer at the Carlsberg Bar, discover the newest merchandise at the Carlsberg Brand Store, say hi to the horses at the stable, and get something to eat at the restaurant or in the food stall in the courtyard.

You can book your tickets 3 months in advance of your visit.

We recommend prebooking your ticket to visit the Home of Carlsberg exhibition. Doing so will secure the best price and a spot at your preferred time.

Scan the QR code from the booking confirmation you received via email at one of our ticket machines in the courtyard upon arrival. The ticket machine will print a wristband that is your admission ticket.

It takes around 90 minutes to get around the exhibition, depending on your pace and how much you wish to interact and engage in the exhibition. Spend as much time as you want.

We do not offer an annual pass. But you are more than welcome to come and visit us as often as you wish. Stay up to date with our events and news by signing up to our newsletter.

Our tickets have a dynamic price structure and change according to high and low seasons and day of the week. This is to offer the best possible experience to our guests in the exhibition by spreading the visitors out.

We accept Danish kroner and Euros (not Euros in coins). Any change will be given in Danish kroner. We accept Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, Dankort, Eurocard, and Mobilepay.

At Home of Carlsberg, we offer two guided activities. Read more about the guided activities under events.

The historical tour occurs every second hour from 12:00-16:00 and lasts 40 minutes.

The beer tastings occur every second hour from 13:00-17:00 and last 35 minutes.

When you purchase a ticket to the exhibition, you can add a beer tasting or historical guided tour to your booking.

The guided activities can be booked as an add-on to your exhibition ticket. However, you are more than welome to contact booking@carlsberg.com to book a private guided tour.

The signs in the exhibition are in Danish and English, and the guided activities are in English.

Tourist busses can drop passengers off at the parking area across Gamle Carlsberg Vej 11.

If you are late, we can't guarantee a spot at the next time slot.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your timeslot so you have the time to collect your admission wristband. This is important, as it helps us regulate the number of people in the exhibition and create the best possible experience for you.

Unfortunately, you have to leave your pet at home.

Service dogs accompanied by their owner can access Home of Carlsberg, including the restaurant.

Everyone is more than welcome to visit Home of Carlsberg. However, if you are under 18, you must be accompanied by an adult.

You must be turned 18 to book a beer tasting. Youth and children are not allowed to participate in the beer tasting. However, they can follow an adult to the event for free.

There is a small smoking area in the courtyard.

Yes, you can place your belongings in the lockers next to the ticket office. Please note that they are locked by code but it is at your own risk.

Yes, we are still brewing beer at the top of Valby Bakke in Copenhagen and have done so since 1847. Although Carlsberg moved most of the beer production to Fredericia in 2008, beer is still brewed at Husbryggeriet Jacobsen, part of Home of Carlsberg. Husbryggeriet Jacobsen provides beer to a wide range of festivals and restaurants, among others, the restaurant at Home of Carlsberg.

The swastika is an ancient symbol in most cultures and symbolises the sun's path in the sky, which is why some people also call it the sun sign. The swastika is a compound word meaning "that which brings happiness" and was until 1945 also used by Carlsberg as decoration on e.g. labels.

There is one elevator in the exhibition to which guests with reduced mobility and wheelchair users have priority.

Wheelchair users can access the restaurant from a lift on the terrace at Gamle Carlsberg Vej 11. Contact our staff for assistance.

You are more than welcome to bring your pram to Home of Carlsberg. However, due to the many stairs and limited space in the exhibition, it is unfortunately not possible to bring a pram to the exhibition. While you experience the exhibition, you can park your pram in the courtyard.

Find toilets in the exhibition, Carlsberg Bar, the courtyard, and the restaurant. Here, you will also find disability-accessible toilets. They are all clearly marked. Please reach out to our staff if you need help finding them.
